We are pleased to offer a no quibble 28 day returns guarantee for any reason for a full refund. We do not offer an exchange service, if you require an alternative item we kindly ask that you place a new order through the website.

Unless the products are faulty or not as described, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the products to us. We advise all customers to send items back on a tracked service and that you obtain proof of postage.

Returned goods which are not faulty must be in their original packaging & be fit for re-sale.

All of our garments are scrutinised prior to despatch but should be checked before use as we do not accept returns on worn clothing, unless a fault has quickly revealed itself after initial wear. In such isolated cases the garments need to be washed before return. Please use the returns note which is printed on the reverse of the picking slip enclosed with your parcel. Please mark faults with sticky tape to identify the problem. A receipt of postage should be obtained for all returned items and the cost of return postage will not be refunded.

Please note that garments which are not regular stock items, i.e. personalised print garments, will not be accepted back for credit. For reasons of hygiene we are unable to accept underwear back even if returned unworn. Tights may not be returned once opened unless they are faulty. CDs, DVDs are also non-returnable.

Parcels being returned from outside the UK must be clearly marked on the box as ‘Goods being returned to the UK’. From the 1st January 2021 this also includes EU countries. Any customs charges incurred by MyDancestore due to a parcel not being clearly marked will be passed on to the customer and deducted from the corresponding credit.

Please contact your local customs authority to claim back customs fees paid if you are returning items for a refund or an exchange.

Refunds will be credited to the credit or debit card used for the original purchase as soon as possible, in any case within 30 calendar days.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

My Dance Store Product Replacement Process

If the product you have ordered is not suitable and you wish to replace it for a different size, colour or style; This can be achieved through the following process:

  1. Complete the returns slip included in your parcel and return the unwanted product(s) to My Dance Store, at your cost. (MyDanceStore,  7 Silverhills Road, Decoy Industrial Estate, Newton Abbot, TQ12 5ND, United Kingdom)
  2. Send proof of your return to My Dance Store on This can be a tracking number or photo of your postage receipt.
  3. A member of the My Dance Store team will then send you an online promo code which provides you with Free Delivery on your replacement order.
  4. You then need to place another order for the replacement product.
  5. We will then process a refund within 14 days of receiving the returned good(s).
